Six weeks to go!!

Only 6 weeks to go. I feel pretty good most of the time. The baby is kicking and moving all the time. I love looking down and seeing little bumps on my tummy where the baby is kicking. God is so awesome to create babies this way. I am really tired though and am starting to have lots of Braxton-Hicks contractions. It will be so great to have the baby and get back to normal. I also got my hair cut. Too short for a pony tail but I like it.

Some say that my belly looks so small.

Some people say my belly looks huge. This is how I actually feel most of the time.

Stephanie and I took a couple of JR high girls out for dinner. We went to the Crepe Escape. The food was soooo good. I especially liked the pumpkin pie crepe. I am so in the mood for harvest/fall time. It tasted just like hot pumpkin pie.

We had a great night over at Jeremy and Stephanie's. After dinner we played two games of Settlers of Catan. Jeremy beat us all the first game. Man does he play cut throat when he wants to.

Jeremy and Stephanie

I won the game. It was so close. Jeremy and Stephanie only had one point left to get. I had called work and asked to be put on call for the night since we only had two babies and four nurses scheduled. I wanted to have the night off so I could stay and play the game. I thought they said I was on call and would get called in if they needed an extra person. However, I kind of misunderstood. I was supposed to go to work. Anyway, I won and then we left for home. We were almost there when work called wondering where I was. I hustled and got to work in 15 min.

My sweet doggy.

You look great Sarah! I can't believe that you only have six weeks to go. I am so excited for you and Chris!!! One day we need to catch up, it has been way too long since we talked. :)

You do look great....and your belly is cute (though big!) Enjoy the biggness....you WILL miss it. You may not think it now, but I miss it all the time. but, nothing compares to holding your sweet baby and kissing his or her head. That's the best. I can't wait for you to experience it! I wish I lived close. We LOVE Settlers! It looked like from the configuration you were playing Seafarers. I have only played that one time and loved it. Is that what you were doing?

Settlers of Catan is really fun. Yes, that is Settlers with Seafarers. I love that you never play the same board twice. For those of you that haven't gone to Crepe Escape we must go. Megan, sometime that weekend we will go there for a meal. Yum!! Rebecca and Becky, I am so glad that you found my blog. We do have lots of catching up to do. It is hard to think that I will miss the bowling ball stuck on my belly. I do enjoy looking down and seeing the life inside of me. I will miss that. But it will be nice to be able to get off the couch without Chris' help.

As Becky said, you will miss the belly when it is gone. It is amazing how much you miss feeling the baby and seeing them grow. You can never doubt God's creation once you've experienced having a child. It is unbelievable.

A couple of suggestions (not that you won't get tons of these):
1) Get as much sleep as you can now-I know that can be difficult being so far along, but take as many naps as possible.
2) Get a pedicure. I had my first one when I was prego with Abigail. It was so relaxing that each pregnancy at the end I get one. IT makes you feel better about yourself too!

That's it, I'll let all the "old" ladies and busybodies give you a million pointers once you have the baby. :) Just smile and say thanks, I'll have to try that. :) It works miracles.

Watch out for Jeremy at Catan. He is a beast.

Jenylu, I didn't even catch that quote - I was too busy reading pics. Now, I have not had children, but from what I have been told, after kids, who knows what "normal" is??????
