All those funny saying that make me laugh!

How time does fly.  My little ones are growing up so fast.  I try hard to write down the sweet and funny things that they say so that I don't forget them.

Luke ( a boy in her class at school)told Bekah that he loved her and wanted to marry her. Bekah looked at him and told him that she had options and wasn't sure if she was going to marry him. She said that she might marry him or Crew or Josh or Max. Oh my!

I was giving my husband a hug and a kiss this morning while Hannah sat on the counter watching us. She piped up and said, "Keep your hands to your self!" We both just about fell on the floor laughing.

Hannah whispered to her Grandmom tonight, "If I eat too much, I'll get a baby in my tummy."

Hannah was telling Daddy about two books that the Berinstain Bears wanted to read, "The Three Fighting Kittens" and "The Three Billy Goats and the Gruff". Love how she mixes up the titles.

I wasn't feeling good yesterday and Hannah claimed she wasn't either. She looked at me and said, "Since we're not feeling good let's just not pick Bekah up from school today. Ok? " Umm. . . I think Bekah might have a problem with that.

Our van is in the shop, so we got a rental car. Bekah opened the door to get in today. She was very impressed. On the way to school she told me, "When I opened the door to the car I said, Gosh, then i GASPED because it was so beautiful." Make me laugh so hard.

Bekah, "I'm going to marry Crew!"
Papa, "Well, he has to talk to your daddy before he marries you." Bekah, "He can't ask my daddy. He doesn't know where our house is!"

Stephanie Writebol, so Bekah was sobbing before you were even in the car. Bekah said, "Allie told me not to tell you, but I'm going to tell you anyway. I am moving to Witchita, KS when I am grown up. I'm going to be next door neighbors to Allie. But don't worry mom, I'll still come visit you." Love how they are planning for the future.

Today I watched an advertisement with Bekah. At the end of it the guy said, "I am a mormon." Bekah looked at me with a question on her face and asked, "Why did he say he was a woman?"

My Girls Keep Me Laughing

My girls are always getting into something or saying something to make us laugh.  They are the joy of my life and they are my treasures.  They are both so different but in awesome ways.  I enjoy seeing them grow and learn and become who they are.  I am so blessed to have these girls call me mommy and give me their love.

Here are so outtakes from my life.

After visiting baby Evan, Bekah asked if we could have a baby at our house. I responded that daddy isn't ready to have a new baby at our home. She thought for a minute and then said, "Well, we don't have to tell him about it."

Our conversation on the way home from church went something like this: Bekah said she kept coughing today. Hannah asked, "Are you allergic to kittys?" Bekah replied, "No, I'm not allergic to anything." Hannah thinks for a minute then said, "What about zebras?"

Actual conversation while watching Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang: Auntie Megan said, "What do you do if a stranger offers you candy?" Bekah said, "Don't take it." Hannah smiled and said, "I did!!" Hmmm. Guess we have some more training to do.

I heard Hannah singing to herself in the bathroom. "Come on poop. Come on, just one come out. Come on poop. . . . I love you, Mom!" Oh my! She does keep me entertained.

The girls have lately been coming up with new names for everyone when we are driving in the car. Bekah is now Thomas. Hannah is Candy Land. Chris is James and sometimes Habinidab Slabobovich. I am Chutes and Ladders that I then changed to Bubble Gum. We have a weird family. And I love it!

Hannah saw the Hollindase on my asparagus and asked me if it was throw up.

At 10pm I discovered Hannah playing with a jar of vaseline in her room. She had gotten into all sorts of things in mommy's bathroom. Her excuse, "You didn't lock your door. You are supposed to lock your door."

Hannah and Bekah were telling me about their day and they created more questions than answers. They told me that they went to three different stores looking for something in a little container. Bekah thought it might be gasoline. That or a small container to use in baking. Hannah thought it might be a bottle of water. I was so confused.  Turns out it was a aluminum bottle of coke that he thought looked cool.

When my Aunt Rita and Uncle Dan were here the other night Bekah was cuddling with Aunt Rita. Uncle Dan asked Hannah if he could have a hug. After staring at him for a minute she replied, "I give my mom and dad hugs." He again asked for a hug from her. Hannah looked at him, paused and then said, "I sometimes hug other people." She picked up a leave and gave it to him. After she found a handfull of leaves for him she finally sat on his lap and cuddled. It was so cute!

Chris was putting Bekah to bed the other night when Bekah said, "Daddy, you know there are some parents that let their kids sleep with the door open." Chris replied, "Yes, some parents are like that but not me." Bekah said, "I wish you were one of those parents."

Little Girls Funny Sayings

Bekah likes red apples. The green ones are dumb unless they have peanut butter on them, then they are not dumb. I asked her if she meant sour instead of dumb. She did! Love it!

We are watching Lightning the Queen according to Bekah, or Lightning the Cream per Hannah. They can never get his name right.

Mary, a wiseman, a sheep, a donkey and a camel have been missing from the kids nativity set since before Christmas. I went through every logical place they might be. Finally gave up and hoped they weren't buried in the back yard or eaten by the dog. Just found them all today. Bekah hid them all in daddy's computer bag. I figured one of the kids hid them some where-just couldn't figure out where.

Hannah saw me with a towel on my head after my shower this morning. She said with all the seriousness and honesty of a three year old, "Mommy, you look kind of wicked with that thing on your head."

I found Hannah standing over the toilet, toothpaste and tooth brush in hand. She decided to get up extra early and "clean" the toilet with Dora bubble gum toothpaste. Nice! At least our bathroom smells extra yummy and it got a good cleaning.

On our walk, Bekah ran up to me and said, "Max and I am getting married!" I responded, "Oh, did he just ask you to marry him?" Bekah said, "Yes! We are getting married when we grow up." I said, "Wow, can you at least wait until you are done with college?" She laughed and road off on her scooter.

Bekah and Hannah were trying to wash their dresses in the bathroom sink. When I went to check on them, water was pouring out from under the bathroom door. The girls were standing at the sink naked and giggling while they splashed in the water. There was water EVERYWHERE! Oh the joys of being a mommy.

Funny Sayings

I love seeing the funny things my girls do each day.  They bring me such joy and happiness.  Here are a few of the things that they have said or done that made me laugh.

Bekah likes red apples. She says the green ones are dumb unless they have peanut butter on them, then they are not dumb. I asked her if she meant sour instead of dumb. She did! Love it!

My parents had a surprise birthday for Chris.   My mom made dessert.   Hannah had a peice of cake and some Sherbert ice cream. She then looked up at us and asked us, "Is it too late to have some chocolate?"

Bekah was so sweet on my birthday.  She got her piggy bank down and gave me a quarter and four pennies. Bekah looked at me with such love and told me that I can buy anything I want for my birthday with the money she gave me. I love presents from the heart!!!!
Just found Hannah sound asleep on blankets in her closet. It was so precious to see her sleeping there in her jammies that she "had" to put on for her nap.

Bekah and Hannah keep telling me that I am so old. They say I am old like a grandma. I asked how old they thought I was. They believe I am 17 years old. I did not correct them.

Daddy to Hannah, "Who is part of our family?"
Hannah, "Wise man, God and baby Jesus!"

Then later Hannah asked, "Why is the sun in the sky?" Daddy explained that the sun made things grow and gave us light. He asked her who put the sun in the sky. Her response, "God did!! Daddy, did you help Him?"

Hannah still has a hard time saying her s's.  I love it when she says she has a _tuffy nose.  Hannah has to use a _tep _tool to stand on.  She _pins around and around the living room and loves to see the _cool bus.  I'll be very sad when she says every thing the right way.  Her little Hannah phrases are so cute.
