A Bun In The Oven!

Chris, my husband, and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year. Finally I found out in March that I was. I could not have been more happy. Chris is also getting used to the idea of being a daddy.
The morning sickness was not so fun to deal with but now I am almost 3 1/2 months and that is gone. It's amazing the changes that take place when your body is making a baby. I couldn't eat chicken for 2 months. The thought of it was so gross. Fortunately I love it again! I don't really want chocolate or snack stuff either. Just fruit and healthy stuff. I guess my body just wants what is best for the baby. It's kind of cool.
I am also exhausted all the time. Chris is kind of sick of me being tired all the time, but there isn't much to control that. It's funny, I can work the night shift and then sleep for 10 hours. After being up for 3-4 hours I can go back to sleep for another 8-10 hours. After getting up in the morning I can lay on the couch and then take a nap 3 hours later. I can't wait for my energy to come back.

I am starting to show too. I went out the other day with Robin Boyd, a dear friend of mine. We had so much fun shopping. I found the cutest top-well actually three tops. And a pair of maternity shorts. It is so much fun finding cute things that will fit me.
I have gone to 2 ob apt's and it was amazing. The first time -I had and ultrasound and got to see the peanut and it's little tiny heartbeating. The second apt. I heard the heartbeat and it was so strong and sounded awesome. My next apt. is on May the 10th. Hopefully Chris can go with me.
Well that's enough for now. I'll try to keep this updated because if I don't Megan, my little sister, will be sure to get on my case. Love ya Meg!!

Congratulations on making your first REAL post! :) I've been checking everyday to see if you posted anything else. You look great! I was studying the pictures and I think you're definitely looking older than a 12 year old now! I'm so excited that things are going so well for you and Baby. Keep us posted!

Look at you pregnant lady :) Your pregnancy sounds like mine with Daniel. I went through a chicken stage and then one day I could eat it again. Which is good because we love chicken in our house and have it all the time. This time I am having a hard time with milk stuff. Not fun. I bet it was fun to pick out some maternity clothes :)
