Finger Painting and a visit to Grandma

My Grandma Martha fell on Saturday and broke her hip. She had extensive surgery to pin her hip and put in a rod. Six weeks of no weight bearing and then rehab. Grandma is in really good spirits. Hannah and I went to visit her today. We had a nice visit and brought some pictures that Bekah painted for her.

We had a fun time going on a walk by the creek near our house.



We made a little fishing rod and fish for Bekah. She got frustrated with not being able to catch the fish fast enough. So Bekah ended up holding the end of the line and putting it right on the fish. It was so funny.

Bekah's Silly Faces

I made it through my first night back at work. After a full day with my two little girls and an 1 1/2 hour nap I headed back to work after 5 months off. It was nice to be back and see everyone. Chris did great with the girls. Hannah behaved herself as well. I was a little worried since she doesn't really like bottles, but she did ok. She won't take more than 2 oz but seems to be content with that. Chris is really hoping that she will start to sleep through the night. I don't see that happening quite yet. Well, I'm off to work. Three more nights and then I get a night off.
