Visiting Grandparents in Redding

Bekah had fun in the backyard, playing on the grass and finding green peppers to chew on. I love the pictures of her sitting in the grass with her bunny.

Bekah liked the hammock and sat with her grandfather for awhile. She loves the funny things he does and the funny faces he makes.

When my mom was a little girl in the nursery at church she used to play with a little rocking horse. A little while ago she found an old rocking horse just like the one she remembered. She is still working on getting it back into shape. It will take a little more time and paint to make it like new. Bekah wasn't too sure about it but I do think she liked it. She like to pull herself up on it.

We put Bekah to sleep in the port a crib in my dad's office. When I went to get her in the morning this is what I found. She was sitting in the middle of the crib surrounded by paper's and she was smiling as she waved a pencil around. We quickly moved her crib away from all the fun stuff she could play with.

Bekah with her Nana. She enjoys smiling and playing with her and showing her Nana all her toys.

Bekah giving Oompapa a hug. She laughs so much when she is thrown up in the air.

Twister Anyone?

Friday afternoon before the kids left we had a fun game of twister. Jeremy won twice, Brittanty once and Sarah not at all. I am thoroughly convinced that only young people should play this game and that no longer includes me.

We ran over to the library and got a picture with Charlie Brown.

Camping Out

The kids came over to spend the night camping in our backyard. We set up the tent and loaded it with sleeping bags, pillows and blankets. Bekah had fun crawling all over the tent and exploring.

The kids had fun running around and wrestling with their Uncle Chris. Jeremy loves doing this and having fun hanging out with us. He has so much energy and spunk.

We got our fire pit going and all of us roasted hotdogs over the fire. They tasted really good. All except for Jessie's. She decided that instead of ketchup or mustard she wanted peanut butter on it. I tried to talk her out of it but she really thought it would taste good. I only put a little bit on. Good thing because she really didn't like it. Go figure!!

Jessie enjoyed the smore's much more than her peanut butter hotdog. Everyone one had smores made with Reese's Peanut butter cups. Yum!

We played guesstures. Jessie can't read so Chris would whisper the word to her and she would try to act it out. She didn't really understand all of the rules but that made it much more fun to play with her. She was trying to get us to say the word egg. She kept making an egg shape with her hand, then pushing her hands apart and whispering "hatch, hatch". It was soooo funny.

Goat Rock Beach

I had a lot of fun taking my nieces Brittany (14) and Jessie (5) and my nephew (9) along with Bekah out to the beach. It was foggy and kind of cool out but the kids didn't care. They had so much fun running up and down the beach, collecting rocks and climbing up on the boulders. Bekah had fun with me carrying her. I really enjoy just spending time with the kids and doing fun stuff with them.
